Overview
The Pack 63 Hand-me-down Store is a way for growing Scout families to donate serviceable uniform items to younger Scout families. Our collective goal is to have each Scout in full uniform and we believe that the store is a cost effective way to assist families in achieving this goal.
Tasks
- Advertise the Hand-me-down Store at Pack meetings.
- Receive and organize donated uniform items.
- Inspect items for serviceability and dispose of unserviceable items.
- Recommend a reasonable price structure to the Pack Committee for items which cover the cost of maintaining the store (bins, tags, cash box, etc.)
Time Requirement
Attend monthly Pack Committee Meetings – 90 minutes
Attend monthly Pack Meetings – 90 minutes
Organize and inventory store – 60 minutes per month
Attend annual Pack Planning Meeting – 120 minutes in June
